Blackberry Messenger Android, Is It Possible?

There's no doubt that the blackberry messenger is one of the most popular messaging application for now. However, these applications can only be used in limited on Blackberry handsets only. 
 
In this regard, the Research in Motion as an official vendor of blackberry is conducting discussions with Google and Apple about the possibility of providing these Blackberry Messenger Android or  iPhone in their devices. This statement was taken from the Boy Genius Report site. 
 
According to The Telegraph, RIM is currently being planned for blackberry messenger so that applications can run on android operating system or Apple's iOS.
BGR also said that there is a possibility for RIM to charge their customers who use blackberry messenger on handsets outside of blackberry. The fees charged for the rest could be just once or even be charged regularly. 

 
To be sure, until now there is no clarity both about the rate and time to realize this plan. If only this can be realized, the Blackberry Messenger Android users as well as iphone can communicate with their friends who first used the blackberry messenger application.
And interestingly, those users who switch using blackberry to iphone or android can still use this application without losing key features such as sharing, photos, video, and location to other users.
However, observers believe that the blackberry messenger application that will be applied to the android and the iphone will not have the same capability on the blackberry device. Because this could be detrimental to the blackberry itself.
Furthermore, we can only wait see when these plans will actually be realize.
